Information and Community Resources for Families



• The American Speech-Language Hearing Association provides information on hearing and balance disorders, swallowing disorders, and speech and language development and disorders. 

• Cook Children's Child Study Center provides diagnosis of learning disabilities, behavior and emotional disorders, as well as Autism and developmental delays. They are a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism.  

• Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas provides resources and activities for children with Down Syndrome and their families, including their annual Buddy Walk.  

• Easter Seals provides resources for children with disabilities and their families. 

• The Stuttering Foundation provides information and resources for families of children with fluency disorders. Información en español

• The American Occupational Therapy Association provides information on how occupational therapy can help an individual live life to the fullest.

• Feeding Matters provides a questionnaire dedicated to the early detection of infant and childhood feeding disorders. The results may then be printed and provided to the physician or other professionals involved in the child's care. Información en español
