We are continuously watching the rapidly evolving situation around COVID-19. Our first thought is always for the safety and well-being of our patients, families, and staff.  Anchor Pediatric Therapy staff is working around the clock to ensure we are up to date with all breaking news, CDC regulations, and public health guidance. We are taking all safety precautions to keep your family and ours healthy and safe. Below is a summary of a just a few of the things we have implemented, above and beyond our regular sanitation protocol.

  • We have implemented a one in, one out policy. One patient is allowed to enter the building with their parent, sign in, and be admitted back to therapy before the next patient is allowed to enter the front door.

  • Our patient waiting areas are currently closed, in order to comply with regulations restricting occupancy and gatherings. Families wait in their cars for the duration of the visit. Only one caregiver may join the patient in the session, if required to maintain the patient's progress in treatment.

  • Individuals are screened for symptoms of illness prior to being admitted back to the therapy area. Any STAFF or PATIENT that has symptoms of illness (Fever of 100.4 F or above, Cough or symptoms of a respiratory illness, Flu-Like Symptoms, Shortness of Breath) will be turned away. We are asking parents to cancel their child's therapy visit for ANY of the above symptoms. If there is any doubt, please stay home.

  • Patients are required to wash hands before being permitted to enter their sessions.

  • Our entire office is being sanitized at increased intervals throughout the day, including pens, clipboards, door handles, sign-in station, counter tops, and bathrooms.

  • As always, therapists maintain the utmost level of cleanliness in the therapy rooms while cleaning all therapy materials, tables, and hand washing between sessions.

We continue to operate within our normal scheduled hours in the office in order to serve our patients' needs. Our goal is to limit interaction between clients and limit the amount of personal contact inside the clinic, while continuing to provide this vital and medically-necessary treatment

If any patient or family member has any symptoms of illness, we ask parents to reschedule the appointment for a later date. We are always happy to discuss any questions or concerns our families may have, and will continue to provide updates regarding our policies with any future changes.
